We Need A Home!

If you are interested in adopting a cat or kitten from us, please ring our CatLine on 01268 285778 (preferred contact method) or email to homing@bascats.org.uk. Please mention that you've seen our website! Our Homing Officer will discuss with you what type of cat you would like and talk you through our adoption procedure.

All our cats are micro-chipped, and any behaviour or health problems are sorted out before they are put up for adoption. All cats are neutered if not already done when they come into care. All cats and kittens are treated for fleas and worms and vaccinated against Feline Flu, Enteritis and Leukaemia, micro-chipped and are homed with 4 weeks free Pet Plan Insurance. We normally ask for  70 per cat or kitten to help towards the costs of their care whilst they were with us. However if you could afford more and give us an extra donation,  it will help us to help more unfortunate cats. There are just so many out there needing our help.  Each cat or kitten, will have cost us 130 or more whilst in our care, so  the 70 adoption fee  does not even cover our costs. For some cats, it may amount to many hundreds  of  s. We are also now offering free neutering for kittens we rehome at a vet we specify.

Sorry, but we are unable to home kittens to addresses more than 20 miles by road outside of our branch's area.

The  new  banner indicates that the  cat (or cats) has been put up on the website during the last week.

Please phone our CatLine on 01268 285778 for details.

All homings are subject to a satisfactory home check visit.

BUSTER
*** CAT  OF THE WEEK  ***
   BUSTER

Buster is a handsome black male, and has  been micro-chipped, neutered  and  vaccinated.

Buster came into our care recently from a lady who had tried to introduce him to her existing cat. Unfortunately, they did not get on, so we were  asked to take him in to rehome him. He would be best suited to an adult only home, where he would be the only pet.

Can you give Buster a new start in a home of his own?

ivy
   IVY

Ivy is a pretty dark tortie female, and has
been micro-chipped, neutered  and  vaccinated.

Ivy came into our care with her two kittens. She is a nervous girl, who we are continuing to work with to gain her confidence. She is looking for a quiet home, with an experiences cat owner, to gain her trust, and give her the time she needs  to settle into her new home.

Are you the special person who can  give Ivy the home she needs?
helena
   HELENA

Helena is a pretty white and tabby female and has been micro-chipped, neutered  and  vaccinated.

Helena came into our care, with 2 other cats due a child allergy at her former home. She is a friendly girl, but  like a lot of cats is a bit reserved at first with people she doesn't know.  She is used to other cats, but is looking for a home without dogs or very young children.

Can you offer this pretty girl her  new forever home?
barney
   BARNEY

Barney is a  black male and has been micro-chipped, neutered  and  vaccinated.

This handsome boy came into our care, with Betty, due to a child allergy. He is a friendly boy, who is looking for a nice quiet home without dogs or young children. He is a shy of people he doesn't know and will need a little time to settle into his new home.

Is Barney the cat you have been waiting for?
betty
   BETTY

Betty is a pretty black female and has been micro-chipped, neutered  and  vaccinated.

This lovely girl came into our care, with Barney, due to a child allergy. She is a friendly girl who, in common with a lot of cats will be shy at first. She is looking for a nice quiet home without dogs or young children and will need a little time to settle into her new home.

Can you give Betty her  new forever home?
eric
new   ERIC    new

Eric is a handsome ginger male and has been micro-chipped, neutered  and  vaccinated.

Eric came into our care when his owner had to move and could not take him with her. Eric is a little shy at first with people he doesn't know, but quickly overcomes this and shows his friendly, affectionate nature. He would be best suited to a home without very young children.

Can you offer this lovely boy a new loving home?
B & B
new   BAILEY & BAXTER    new

Bailey is a white and tabby male and Baxter is a white and black male.  These 7 month old old brothers have  been micro-chipped, neutered  and  vaccinated.

These handsome boys came into our care due to a change of circumstances in their previous home.  As you can see they are very attached to each other so we are looking to home them together as a pair. Baxter is the bolder of the two but both are very friendly once they get to know you. A home without very young children or dogs would be ideal for their new forever home.

Are these handsome brothers the young cats you have been waiting for?
tessa
new   TESSA    new

Tessa is a pretty young black and white female and has been micro-chipped, neutered  and  vaccinated.

Tessa was handed in as a stray with her five adorable kittens. She has been a wonderful mum to her kittens and is now looking for her forever home. She is a very friendly girl  who loves lots of fuss and cuddles. She loves to play with toys and will play with you. She would be suitable for most homes and would make an ideal family pet.

Can you give this gorgeous girl her forever home?
MILLIE
new   MILLIE   new

Millie is a pretty young tortie and white female and has been micro-chipped, neutered  and  vaccinated.

Millie came into our care due to a change in family circumstances and didn't settle with the 3 dogs in the family. She is a very friendly girl who deserves a forever home without dogs.

Will yours be the lucky family to adopt her?
